The Communications & Marketing Division includes both the public information function and management of the Sierra Vista Visitor Center. The division provides overall comprehensive strategic communications planning & implementation for all City departments. Our efforts include: media and public relations, public participation programs, advertising campaigns, tourism marketing & promotion, the development of print materials and video programming, promotion of Sierra Vista to group tours and the film industry, development of web content and video streaming for the City’s website, development and maintenance of the Sierra Vista Visitor Center web site, visitor support initiatives, and data collection for market research.
 Our Vision is to enhance Sierra Vista's image through strategic communication efforts that promote City services, programs and amenities to residents and visitors. We also provide coordinated communication and marketing efforts to encourage local residents to become informed and involved in the community; business and leisure travelers to visit; media to cover area events and activities, and travel professionals and film producers to consider Sierra Vista for group tours and as a film location.
