Invitations to Bid and Requests for Proposal are advertised for four consecutive days in the Sierra Vista Herald newspaper. They will be advertised at least 14 days prior to the bid opening due date. The advertisement will state the date and time the sealed bids are to be opened, the general nature of the goods or services requested, and where the bid packets may be obtained. In addition, active registered vendors will be mailed a Notice Inviting Bids.

If you wish to bid on a project, an original set of plans and specifications must be obtained from the City of Sierra Vista, Procurement Division, 1011 North Coronado Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635, 520-458-3315 Ext. 321. Bids will not be accepted from vendors who did not obtain their plans and specifications from the City of Sierra Vista. Generally, there is a $25.00 per set non-refundable fee (maximum 2 sets) for the bid packets. However, this is subject to change depending on the project.
All formal sealed bids are opened publicly at the designated bid opening time (Mountain Standard Time), date, and place and become a matter of public record. Everyone is welcome to attend the bid openings at the date and time specified in the documents.
All bids and proposals received after the designated bid opening time will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
