Fifth Annual West End Block Party 2010
The West End Commission (WEC) is offering you a unique and cost effective opportunity to promote and market your business / organization to thousands of people and potential customers.
On April 24, 2010, the WEC, together with the City of Sierra Vista, will be hosting the fifth Annual West End Block Party and we are inviting you to participate.
This high profile community event has proved to be an effective showcase for the West End of our city and each year we receive very positive feedback from participants. Once again, we are looking for vendors and sponsors to take part and to help make our fifth party another great success. Vendor applications are available at City Hall, Oscar Yrun Center, on line at the City Web Page, or by contacting the POC listed below.
The West End Block Party will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. (vendor participation will end at 6:00 p.m.) on West Fry Boulevard from North Street to North Garden Avenue. This area of Fry Boulevard will close to all vehicular traffic and vendor spaces will be available for arts and crafts, food and other exhibits.
We are particularly encouraging West End businesses and groups to take advantage of this unique marketing opportunity, especially given the high attendance of the event and the chance for thousands of people to walk, rather than drive, along Fry Boulevard and learn more about what your company or organization has to offer. Businesses located within the boundaries of the party are encouraged to extend their opening hours and/or to move their business outside for this event. Community/civic organizations and non-profits organizations are encouraged to provide information booths, raffles or sales.
The cost of a 10 x 10 booth space is just $45 (10 x 20 is $60). Sponsorship packages are also available and offer an excellent promotional opportunity for your business.
